Pending is a question and it will be raising by anyone at any point of time and will goes at any level of contact/discussion and makes difficulties in many areas to disturb the daily activities for many people.
Pending will raise a question by itself because it is not full fledged and it can't move further thinking of another concept/topic and can't forgetful by whom needed the answer/solution.
Completed of work gives answer and it can't disturb others and sometimes gives success with appreciations, awards, promotions with happy celebrations.
Completion of work gives/motivates to reach the goals.
